Actor Sivakarthikeyan’s next project, in which he will be seen romancing Nayanthara for the first time, will go on the floors on November 11. The film is directed by ace filmmaker Mohan Raja.

The new Sivakarthikeyan-starrer will be bankrolled by RD Raja of 24AM Studios, who had also produced the actor’s latest blockbuster Remo.

Given that Raja was Siva’s former manager, speculations were rife that the actor was using the former as a proxy to produce his own films. However, Siva rubbished the reports, saying if he decides to produce films, he will do so under his own name.

Mohan Raja’s untitled film boasts an all-star cast, including Prakash Raj, Sneha, Rohini, RJ Balaji, Thambi Ramaiah, Yogi Babu, and Sathish. The film also marks the Tamil debut of Malayalam A-lister Fahadh Faasil.

Fahadh is known for the films like Maheshinte Prathikaram, Kerala Cafe, 22 Female Kottayam and Bangalore Days. Young composer Anirudh Ravichander will score music for the film, which also marks his fifth collaboration with Siva.

The new project will show Siva in a different avatar, who has so far delivered either comedy and romances. The film deals with a serious social issue and has a message. The shooting will take place in Mumbai, Pune and Malaysia,

Mohan is popular for predominantly remaking Telugu movies in Tamil with his actor brother Jayam Ravi. He has directed seven films so far, of which six had Jayam Ravi in the lead.

Mohan and Jayam Ravi’s last outing was Thani Oruvan, a super cop film. The film became a blockbuster and its box office success inspired the Telugu remake, in which actor Ram Charan is playing the lead.
