Ahead of the release of Baahubali: The Beginning last year, Rana along with his co-star Tamannaah was in Bengaluru to promote the movie at the Comic Con. While talking to the crowd, Rana said that he had lost a lot of weight by doing intense action sequences over and over again. Nevertheless, he still looked massive. And for the second part, he has just gotten better.

Rana Daggubati, Rana Daggubati Baahubali, Prabhas, Prabhas Rana Daggubati, Tamannah Bhatia, SS Rajamouli, Baahubali’s Bhallala Dev aka Rana Daggubati’s friends from the fraternity have congratulated him for the hardwork he put in to attain the toned body.

“The older Bhallala is stronger and beefier, so I weighed around 108-110 kg for some portions in both the films. His younger version is strong too, but leaner. So I lost a few kilos for that. My weight has dropped to 92-93 kg now,” Rana said in a statement.

As the phrase goes, “good bodies are made in the kitchen”, Rana follows a diet that is high in carbs, proteins and oil free.

“I eat every two and a half hours and there’s a nutritionist present around the clock. He conducts regular check-ups to ensure that we are on the right track,” he said. His trainer Kunal Gir should be appreciated for keeping a hawk’s eye on Rana’s food intake, besides helping him sculpt a body to die for.

The second part of the epic drama, Baahubali: The Conclusion, which is directed by Rajamouli, will hit the screens next year.
