Popular director Ram Gopal Varma compared his singing to that of Pawan Kalyan’s after the ‘power star’ sang a Telangana folk song at his political rally in Kakinada on Friday.

You know the RGV way though, he never leaves it there. The director took his rant to the next level by posting a series of tweets asking opinions from Tollywood actors’ fan-base and music directors about his number to that of Pawan Kalyan’s. In fact, he also posted a YouTube link of his song from his upcoming movie Vangaveeti comparing it with PK’s Kakinada rally hum.

“PK is far far better in everything but after listening to his singing at Kakinada I think I am little bit slightly better singer than him. Song I sang for Vangaveeti is youtu.be/kPK_5wp83bc and song PK sang is m.youtube.com/watch?v=iZijto… you decide who’s a better singer,” Ram Gopal Varma posted.

He also asked the Tollywoood star league. “My request to Mahesh Babu fans to Tarak Fans to Prabhas fans PK’s fans and also PK himself to honestly tell me who’s a better singer? My request to fans of Mahesh babu’s Allu Arjun’s, Tarak’s, Prabhas’s, Ravi Teja’s, Chiranjeevi’s and also Pawan Kalyan’s to tell who’s a better singer? I request media to ask Devi Sri Prasad to Mani Sharma to Thaman and all the best singers to honestly tell who’s better singer between me and PK?” the director tweeted.

RGV song from Vangaveeti

Speaking at Jana Sena’s political rally in Kakinada, Pawan Kalyan recalled the Telangana agitation. He recalled an incident that took place during that time in Osamnia University and crooned that song to drive his point.
