Pulimurugan’s Telugu dubbed version Manyam Puli to release in November

Telugu actor Jagapati Babu had confirmed the news about dubbing of the movie on his Facebook page earlier.

The Telugu dubbed version of Kollywood blockbuster and Mohanlal-starrer Pulimurugan is slated for release in November this year. Titled as Manyam Puli in Telugu, sources in the industry have confirmed that the dubbing of the film has been wrapped up and music director Gopi Sunder has composed the Telugu tracks.

Noted producer Krishna Reddy had acquired the Telugu rights for Pulimurgan and bankrolled it under Sree Saraswathi film banner. Earlier, Reddy’s dubbed versions of Sindurapuvvu and Shasaghattam were hits. Relying on the popularity of Mohanlal in Tollywood, the movie is expected to bring some good numbers at the Telugu box office too.

“Extremely excited to be a part of Mohanlal Garu’s Pulimurugan that is already creating waves at the box office. Currently dubbing for the Telugu version, which will be out soon!” Jagapati Babu had posted.

The Kollywood box office hit Pulimurugan made stupendous collections by becoming the first movie to gross Rs 20 crore in just five days of its release. The action entertainer had collected Rs 30 crore from ticket sales in its first week. Reportedly made on a budget of Rs 25 crore, the movie minted one-fifth of the amount on its opening day alone.
