Everyone is wondering what Mahesh Babu and Janatha Garage director Koratala Siva’s next film would offer. The director was rumoured to be casting for the film. The buzz is that the movie will have many big-ticket stars along with Mahesh. In fact, we even heard Nagarjuna’s name mentioned in this regard. However, director Siva laid all rumours to rest by dismissing any such idea.
“There are no fancy combos in my next film nor is it a multi-starrer. I request all of you to ignore all the speculations,” the director said on Wednesday.
Under Siva’s direction, the shoot of Mahesh’s 23rd film will start from January next year. DVV Entertainments will be bankrolling the movie, which will hit the screens in the second half of 2017.
Siva and Mahesh had earlier worked in Srimanthudu, which got good numbers at the box office. Mahesh has also worked in multi-cast films like Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu.
The actor is said to be already busy shooting for his next film in the direction of AR Murugadoss, which will release in summer next year. The action entertainer is being shot simultaneously in three languages — Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. Rakul Preet Singh is the female lead and Mahesh will be essaying the role of an intelligence officer. The movie is being made on a huge budget of Rs 100 crore.
Mahesh Babu is also reportedly busy signing projects. After big directors like Murugadoss and Siva, the actor is also rumoured to have teamed up with Trivikram Srinivas for his 25th movie.
