From music director to actors and singers, Nirmala Convent crew packs many new players who are all ready for a grand show on September 16. Akkineni Naragajuna, who produced the movie, opened Tollywood gates for sons of many stars actors’ and award-winning music directors’ sons. As we wait for the “teenage love story” to hit the silver screen on Friday, let’s take a look at all the firsts in the film.
Roshan Meka: After a brief supporting role in Rudhramadevi, son of popular Tollywood actor Srikanth is starting his career in this movie. Roshna’s playing lead opposite Shriya Sharma in the movie.
A R Ameen: Oscar-winning director A R Rahman’s son has lent his voice for a number Kotha Kotha Bhasha in the movie. Last year, 12-year-old Ameen sang in his father’s composition for Mani Ratnam’s Tamil movie O Kadhal Kanmani.
Roshan Saluri: The music director who is composing for his first movie is the scion of Saluri. Roshan is the son of Telugu music director Saluri Koteshwarao’s (popularly known as Koti). Roshan also was the one who convinced his father to bring A R Ameen on board.
Siddharth Mahadevan: Popular Bollywood playback singer Shankar Mahadevan’s son has also been roped in for his first solo Telugu song Emo Evaritho in the movie. He had sung famous Sweety track in Race Gurram along with Rabbit Mac earlier.
Roshan Kanakala: Another Roshan in the movie is Telugu actor Rajeev Kanakala and popular anchor Suma Kanakala’s son. Roshan is in a supporting role in the movie.
While these are considered the firsts in this movie, another bonus segment is Nagarajuna playing a cameo role and also singing a number after 17 years in Telugu movie and Bollywood singer Kailash Kher up for another track.
