Actor Nayanthara is teaming up with director Chakri Toleti for her next outing, Kolaiyuthir Kaalam. The director shared the news and the film’s first look poster on Twitter on the actor’s birthday.
The movie is produced by music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja and Bollywood’s leading producers Vasu Bhagnani and Deepshika Deshmukh under Pooja Films banner, who will be producing their first Tamil film. The Telugu, Tamil bilingual film is set to start its shooting in November and is expected to release in late 2017.
Nayanthara will play a lead role in the movie. She has signed as many as 10 projects this year. Along with Kolaiyuthir Kaalam, the actor is also gearing up for multiple female-centric roles this year including Aramm, a social drama featuring Nayan as a district collector, and a horror flick Dora in which the actor plays the lead role. Shooting of both the films are underway. She is simultaneously working on four films. The actor also delivered Iru Mugan, opposite Vikram, and Kaashmora, opposite Karthi, which made a decent collection at box office.
However, details of other cast and crew have not been revealed yet.
Chakri Toleti has earlier made Eenadu featuring Kamal Haasan and Venkatesh, the film was also remade in Bollywood as A Wednesday. He also directed Tamil hit Billa 2. The director was also a child actor in the classic Sagara Sangamam.

Reports suggest that the director planned a title with Baahubali baddie Rana Daggubati but it didn’t work out.
