Nakshatram first look: Regina, Pragya surprise with drastically different looks

The leading ladies of Nakshatram are ready to surprise you with two polar opposite characters as the filmmakers released the first look posters of their next title.

Regina Cassandra and Pragya Jaiswal are all glammed up for their next outing, but both chose different looks. While Regina wore a bling outfit to keep up the glamour quotient, Pragya is all suited up as a tomboy holding a 9 mm with a rugged look. Of course, the film is an action-packed cop drama, which justifies her look.

However, director Krishna Vamsi said that Pragya’s role will be more than just that. “Pragya Jaiswal will play a dazzling diva and a chivalrous cop role opposite Sai Dharam Tej in our movie. Can’t wait to execute two challenging fight sequences which are specially designed for her. Interestingly, one of the fights is with our hero Sundeep Kishan,” Krishna Vamsi had said earlier.

The director is also upbeat about the film and promoting it with full throttle on Facebook by pushing short first-look clips and posters with frequent updates. The film stars Sundeep Kishan, Regina Cassandra and Nandhita Raj playing lead roles.

Meanwhile, Sai Dharam Tej will be seen playing a cameo and other popular actors like Prakash Raj and Kannada star Sudeep have also been roped in to play crucial characters in the movie.

The movie has been bankrolled by Sri Chakra Media in association with K Srinivasulu of Butta Bomma Creations and S Venugopal, Sajju from Win Win Win creations. After a comeback with melodious tunes for Nani’s Gentleman, music director Mani Sharma will score music for Nakshatram. Mani had worked for Krishna Vamsi’s Murari and Sashirekha Parinayam earlier.
