Naga Chaitanya has locked his dates for his next film to be directed by Kalyan Krishna, which was launched on Wednesday. The actor revealed this while talking to the press during ‘Saahasam Swasaga Sagipo’ promotions.
Under the direction of Soggade Chinni Nayana fame Kalyan, the film will be on the lines of his father Nagarjuna’s hit movie Ninne Pelladatha. “My next project is with Kalyan Kishna. The film will be on the lines of Ninne Pelladatha but it won’t be a remake of another language film. I’ve also agreed to do a film with director Krishna for which David Nathan, who wrote the story for Gentleman, is working on the script,” the actor said during the media interaction.
The director, whose debut film Soggade with Nagarjuna, has now signed his second project with Naga Chaitanya.
The actor is also gearing for the release of his next film under Gautam Menon’s direction, Saahasam Swasaga Sagipo, which is set to hit the screens this weekend. The movie is an action thriller that is simultaneously being made in Tamil as Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada with actors Simbu and Manjima Mohan in lead roles. The film also features Baba Sehgal, Sathish Krishnan, Ajay Gollapudi and Satya Siva playing crucial roles. The music is composed by Academy Award-winner A R Rahman. Chaitanya is teaming up with Menon for the second time after they worked in his career hit Ye Maaya Chesave.
Meanwhile, Chaitanya is also riding high on the success of his hit film Premam, a Telugu remake of Malayalam blockbuster of the same name.
