Veteran Malayalam actress K.P.A.C. Lalitha and Hindi actress Aditi Rao Hydari had a blast while shooting for Mani Ratnam’s Tamil film Kaatru Veliyidai. The duo got along like a house on fire and the same was evident when we asked Aditi to describe her experience of working with the senior Kerala actress.
“She is so cute. She is adorable. She is such a chilled out person. She would speak in malayalam and I would speak in English but we fully understood each other. She is too good.”
While Aditi plays the role of a doctor in the film and is cast opposite Karthi, Lalitha reportedly plays a Muslim character in this romantic drama.
When asked to share the experience of working with acclaimed director Mani Rathnam, Aditi blushed. “I hope my face says it all. It’s the greatest blessing that an actor can hope for.”
The actress refused to share anything more about the film or the director. “I respect the way they work. Just for my publicity, I don’t want to talk about things that other people don’t want me to talk about. I respect him(Rathnam) way too much.”
The film which has completed its first schedule will soon move on to its next one in Kashmir.
For the moment, Aditi is busy promoting her next, The Legend of Michael Mishra that co-stars Arshad Warsi and Boman Irani.
