We all know that Power Star Pawan Kalyan is busy with his next films Katamarayudu and another Tamil remake, but there is an interesting story behind how the actor got the title for the former. Pawan, who was present at the audio launch event of Sapthagiri-starrer Sapthagiri Express, revealed that it was an embarrassing thing to recall how he got the title for Katamarayudu.
“Initially, Sapthagiri Express film crew went with the title Katamarayudu for their film, which I said was good. Even after 70 to 80 per cent of the movie was completed, Sapthagiri, the movie producer and the others didn’t hesitate to give me the title for my movie. Though I was ashamed and refused to use the name, they insisted,” said Pawan Kalyan at the event.
In fact, Sapthagiri himself is a die-hard Mega fan. While speaking at the event, Sapthagiri got emotional and was on the verge of tearing up while thanking the star for attending his event.
Sapthagiri worked with Pawan Kalayan in Gabbar Singh.
“Sapthagiri acted a small bit in Gabbar Singh. Though it was a small part, I enjoyed a lot. I might not have watched any of his movies, but I am sure that I will take time to watch Sapthagiri Express,” Pawan Kalyan added.
Pawan Kalyan, after his brief detour from political commitments, is already on full throttle with two projects underway. The actor is busy with Dolly’s Katamarayudu, which is a Telugu remake of Tamil blockbuster Veeram. The movie will feature Pawan Kalyan as a faction leader. Actor Shruti Haasan has been roped in as the female lead in the movie. Simultaneously, he also booked a slot for another Tamil remake of Vedalam under R T Neason for which the shooting will begin next year. He also signed up another project with Trivikram Srinivas.
