Comedian ‘Premam’ Praveen, who shot to fame with his debut movie Kotha Bangarulokam and more recently with Naga Chaitanya-starrer Premam, is back with another supporting role in Srinivas Reddy’s next title Jayammu Nischayammu Raa (JNR).
In the film, Praveen plays a character named ‘Tatkal’ with the tagline, ‘Mee Pane Naa Pani or Your work is mine’. Not surprisingly, he plays a tout in the municipal office. “Tatkal is a super fast and smart office bearer with the motto ‘No personals, only business’ and hence the name. Praveen turned the role into a laugh riot with his impeccable comic timing. The audience will enjoy his character for sure,” said director Shivaraj Kanumuri.
Popular Tollywood comedian Sunil on Tuesday unveiled the first look poster of ‘Tatkal’ and conveyed his best wishes to the entire team of JNR. Sunil is also busy with his next project, a Telugu remake of Malayalam flick 2 Countries. “We sincerely thank Golden Star Sunil for considering our request and unveiling our ‘Tatkal’ look. His wishes and appreciation mean a lot,” added the director.
Jayammu Nischayammu Raa starring Srinivas Reddy, Poorna, Posani and Jeeva is directed and produced by Shivaraj Kanumuri under his home banner Shivaraj Films.
Creative director Sukumar launched the first song (O Rangula Chilaka) and offered Shivaraj a film under his production. JNR’s theatrical rights were purchased by distribution house NKR Films — which recently tasted success with Inkokkadu, Irumugan in Tamil — for Rs 7 crore recently. Jayammu Nischayammu Ra movie audio is scheduled to be launched in the first week of November.
