Congestion at Delhi, Mumbai airports, flights delayed
Officials said flights of several airlines, including SpiceJet, Indigo and Jet Airways, are coming from Delhi and Mumbai.
Departure and arrival of several flights at the Chandigarh airport got delayed for the second consecutive day on Thursday owing to congestion at Delhi and Mumbai airports.
However, no flight was cancelled. Officials said flights of several airlines, including SpiceJet, Indigo and Jet Airways, are coming from Delhi and Mumbai.
An official from one of the airlines said the flights were delayed because of the poor visibility at the Delhi airport and maintenance work of runway at the Mumbai airport.
“There were delay in the arrival that led to the delay in the departing flights as well. It was not under control,” said the official.
