As Allu Arjun is busy with his current project DJ, the buzz is that the star’s next film with Lingusamy will begin its shoot from March. As per the latest reports, Allu Arjun agreed to work with Harish Shankar in Duvaada Jagannadam (DJ) before he could take up another project. It is likely that the shooting for DJ will be until March and Arjun is said to have already given the dates to Lingusamy for the yet untitled action flick.

More from the world of Entertainment:

In September, Allu Arjun had announced that he would be teaming with the director. The bilingual film marks Arjun’s debut in the Tamil film industry. At a press meet, Arjun had also said that Chennai has been an integral part of his life as he lived for about 20 years in the city and he was carefully planning his debut in Tamil.

“I thank director Lingusamy and producer Gyanvelraja for launching me into Tamil film industry! I thank the people and media of TN for the welcome!” Arjun had tweeted. Sources close to film unit also revealed that Keerthy Suresh might play lead opposite Arjun in the film. Keerthy is equally popular in both the industries. She had worked with many big-ticket stars in both the industries including Dhanush, Vijay Ilaythalapathy, Nani and Ram.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun is busy shooting for DJ. He joined the sets earlier this month. The shooting of the movie began some time ago and it is said to be progressing quickly. Under Harish Shankar’s direction, the movie is being produced by Dil Raju. It also features Pooja Hegde as the female lead. Devi Sri Prasad will be scoring music for the film, which is slated for a release in summer 2017.
