Rapper Yo Yo Honey Singh‘s much-awaited single ‘Desi Kalakaar’ is finally here. Featuring the beautiful Sonakshi Sinha and Bollywood baddie Gulshan Grover, the video is close to 10 minutes long.

The actress, who is known for her desi roles, is seen in a different avatar as a cool LA girl in the video. She plays Honey Singh’s girlfriend. We can’t exactly say it’s a good look though with the garish makeup and over-the-top supposed coolness. The video shows how Honey Singh and Sonakshi elope to be together but fail.

Penned and sung by Yo Yo Honey Singh, ‘Desi Kalakaar’ – is in both Hindi and Punjabi. A breezy track, but probably not worth the hype like most of his music.

For the new music album, Honey Singh has joined hands with Bhushan Kumar of T-Series. Talking about his singing style for ‘Desi Kalakaar’, Honey Singh had said: “So far you have seen me doing the rap, but in this album I have sung almost 70 percent and just a little bit rap.”

The rapper also expressed his gratitude to Sonakshi Sinha for appearing in the video. “She is looking really good in the video. I think she is the main charm of the video. I really want to thank Sonakshi for her support and being a part of this video.”

Presented by T-Series, “Desi Kalakaar” has seven tracks and their videos will be uploaded at regular intervals.

One of the forthcoming music videos of the album will also feature actress Urvashi Rautela. (With IANS inputs)
