Pop star Katy Perry has waded into rumoured rival Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj‘s Twitter feud by poking fun at the “Bad Blood” singer’s choice of words in her response to the rapper’s apparent MTV Video Music Awards diss.

A day after Swift and Minaj had a heated argument over the raptress’ MTV Video Music Award nominations, the “Roar” hitmaker took to Twitter to seemingly criticise Swift, reported Ace Showbiz.

“Finding it ironic to parade the pit women against other women argument about as one unmeasurably capitalises on the take down of a woman…,” Perry wrote.

She is apparently making reference to Swift’s “Bad Blood”, which is about the former country star feuding with another female entertainer everyone believes is Perry.

In a follow-up tweet, Perry gave a shout-out to Rihanna as she expressed her disappointment over the exclusion of the Bajan singer’s “Better Have My Money” from all categories at the VMAs.

“The real travesty is where is the shine for #BBHMMVideo when VMA eligibility period was 7/7/14-7/1/15 & that gem dropped 7/1… @MTV,” she continued.

Minaj and Swift got into an online spat after the the former found out her “Anaconda” video wasn’t nominated for the coveted Video of the Year.

“If your video celebrates women with very slim bodies, you will be nominated for vid of the year,” she then complained on Twitter.

Swift, one of only two female artists nominated for the big prize, felt attacked by the comment.

“I’ve done nothing but love & support you. It’s unlike you to pit women against each other. Maybe one of the men took your slot,” the 25-year-old songstress responded.

Minaj spent the rest of the day trying to make it clear that her tweet wasn’t directed at Swift or anyone in particular.
