Singer Courtney Love is facing a lawsuit filed by a New York psychiatrist over unpaid bills.

Dr Edward Ratush claimed in his lawsuit, filed in Manhattan Supreme Court last week, that the 50-year-old rock songstress owes him USD 48,250 in fees for treatment she received at his Manhattan facility, reported Ace Showbiz.

The case between Courtney and Edward first came to light in 2014 when the psychiatrist filed a summons against the “Rat a Tat” singer.

In the summons, Edward’s legal team said they sued the singer for breach of contract, money due and owing, and unjust enrichment.

Edward labelled himself an “addiction psychiatrist” who deals with “opiate dependence and treatment-resistant depression.”

Courtney’s representative hasn’t commented on the issue yet.
