It’s been 19 years and neither Jack Dawson (Leonardo Di Caprio) nor Rose Dewitt (Kate Winslet) have turned a year older our eyes. Titanic, the movie, is deeply etched into our memories. Try as we may, we cannot forget the movie and every time we watch it, the ill-fated love story can make us cry.

Recently we spotted a few of the behind-the-scenes moment of Titanic. The graphics are bound to make you as emotional as the film itself. Like the fact that the whole ocean scene was shot in a tub or how the team shot for the famous sinking scene. Beyond all the green screens, these scenes showing genuine camaraderie among the cast members will give you a serious attack of nostalgia.

The colossal melodrama that made James Cameron king of the world 19 years ago was back in 3D as well. Cameron made Titanic the backdrop for a wildly weepie romance. The story of poor little rich girl Rose and Jack, the ordinary guy, is timeless.

DiCaprio and Winslet delivered knockout performances, giving the film a magical momentum. With her haughty, troubled look, Winslet’s Rose chafes against the restrictions of her class and sex from the start, while DiCaprio’s Jack is the embodiment of impish freedom. The scene where the two dance jigs at a lower-deck party is close to pure joy. Cameron’s portrayal of the rich as selfish and venal is crude, but in the grace of his two lead characters he endorses an aristocracy of the spirit.

So there was enough room for both Jack and Rose?

Why James why? Why didn’t you give them a happy ending?

Can Leonardo Di Caprio be more romantic?

We guess Kate Winslet had too much of that cheap beer.

Laughing even at the worst of moments. Now that’s how we know Jack Dawson.

The photo bummer of the most iconic romantic scene.

What’s a behind the scene moment without a few funny images?

The sinking of the ship!

Kate Winslet dosing off on the sets and Leo wakes up right when the cameraman comes by?

That moment when you realise the whole ocean scene was shot in a water tub.

Also when you come to know Jack and Caul weren’t that bad pals in real life.

I’m the king of the world? Or hey James, I’m cold, mind passing a jacket?

You jump I jump.

My heart will go on and on.
