Director Quentin Tarantino says he may quit filmmaking after making ten movies.
The 52-year-old Oscar-winning helmer, whose eighth film “The Hateful Eight” was released in 70mm format on Christmas would like to focus on writing novels and theater, said The Hollywood Reporter.
“Well I’m probably only going to make 10 movies, so I’m already planning on what I’m going to do after that. That’s why I’m counting them. I have twoQuentin Tarantino will ‘probably make only ten films’
“What I want to do basically is I want to write novels and I want to write theater and I want to direct theater,” Tarantino said.
The filmmaker feels his film “Reservoir Dogs” is perfect for theater, saying it “could be put onstage and has been put onstage many times.” I want to stop at a certain point.
