Oscars 2016: Leonardo Dicaprio tweets his thanks to The Academy, Bollywood congratulates the actor on Twitter

Oscars 2016 brought smiles on actor Leonardo Dicaprio. The actor won Best Actor Trohpy for 'The Revenant' after a wait of 23 years.

The actor won Best Actor Trohpy for ‘The Revenant’ after a wait of 23 years. Leonardo didn’t sit back while the Best actor was announced this year, but went forth, climbed the stairs of the stage he had been long yearning for, took the award and gave the speech that the world had been waiting for.

It seems to be the biggest win of his life, all thanks to film’s director Alejandro González Iñárritu who gave this Oscar winning film to the actor.

Accompanied by Titanic co-actor Kate Winslet, Leonardo was in high spirits when he took the golden lady in his hand. Congratulating him is the entire world who have been continuously tweeting congratulatory messages to the actor. Bollywood actors too seem to be excited over his win.
