Kung Fu Yoga trailer just landed and its star is not Jackie Chan or Sonu Sood. The trailer belongs to a very expressive lion.

The trailer of the much-awaited Kung Fu Yoga starring Jackie Chan and Bollywood actors Sonu Sood and Disha Patani has released and if you want a moment of relief after the Rs 1000 and Rs 500 currency note getting abolished and a divisive US election results, this is the video for you.

More of an adrenaline rush than a trailer, Kung Fu Yoga – as the name suggests – gives you an action-packed glimpse of the film. In fact, the action has been taken to another level. You will see the 63-year-old actor driving off a cliff in what appears to be a police cruiser with a lion in the backseat. The lion is as expressive as Jackie Chan and that is the highlight of the moment.

Jackie Chan plays the role of a Chinese archaeology professor who teams up with a beautiful Indian professor Ashmita, played by Disha Patani, in order to find the Magadha treasure. Sonu Sood plays an Indian tycoon who joins Jackie in his attempt to find the treasure.

Together, they set out on a journey to find the treasure in Tibet.  In the trailer, we see Lord Shiva and according to reports, the Drunken Master actor will be performing some action sequences wearing Lord Hanuman costumes. However, both the Indian actors- Sonu and Disha- share a blink-and-miss moment with Jackie Chan in the trailer.

Kung Fu Yoga, a Sino-Indian project, is a part of the three-film agreement signed between the two countries during Chinese President Xi Jinping’s visit to India. This is not the first time that Jackie Chan will be starring along Indian actors. Chan has previously collaborated with Bollywood actor Mallika Sherawat in his 2005 film “The Myth”.
