‘Jurassic World’ director Colin Trevorrow has paid tribute to actor-director Richard Attenborough. The legendary actor and filmmaker, who starred in Steven Spielberg’s ‘Jurassic Park’ in 1993, died aged 90 on August 24.

Trevorrow unveiled an image of a statue of Attenborough’s character John Hammond, which is expected to appear in ‘Jurassic World’ next year.

‘In memoriam’, Trevorrow captioned the photo. Attenborough’s career milestones included starring in the
classic films ‘The Great Escape’, ‘Brighton Rock’ and ‘Miracle’ on 34th Street, as well as earning an Academy-Award for directing 1982 biopic ‘Gandhi’.

‘Jurassic World’ will open in cinemas on June 12, 2015, starring Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard and Jake Johnson among others.

The film will be set 22 years after the events of the original ‘Jurassic Park’.
