Prized possessions from comedienne Joan Rivers’ Manhattan penthouse are up for auction.
Christie’s, a London based auction house, will put up more than 200 of Rivers’ personal items up for auction in June, reported People magazine.
The items will range from USD 500 to 200,000 and the list includes River’s famous jewelry collection, a Tiffany water bowl engraved with Spike, the name of her Yorkshire Terrier and the Edouard Vuillard painting “Dans L’Atelier.”
The live auction takes place June 22 in New York, with an online auction being held June 16–23. A portion of it will benefit the charities God’s Love We Deliver and Guide Dogs for the Blind.
“My mother’s legacy as a much loved comedienne and philanthropist will be commemorated in this collaboration with Christie’s and her generosity to charitable causes is something I will continue to honor,” Rivers’ daughter Melissa Rivers said in a statement.
