Former WWE champ Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson can add People’s `Sexiest Man Alive’ title to his list of accomplishments.
The wrestler-turned-actor was crowned this year’s winner Tuesday morning. The 44-year-old tells the magazine that the honor means he has `pretty much reached the pinnacle.’ Johnson is set to discuss his new status with Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show Tuesday.
Last year’s winner was British soccer standout, David Beckham. Other recent winners include Chris Hemsworth, Adam Levine, and Channing Tatum. Johnson has lent his voice to a character in the animated Disney film Moana,” which hits theaters next week.
Earlier, Johnson says he won’t mind being United States’ next President if given a chance. Addressing Donald Trump’s unexpected victory at the November 8 election, the 44-year-old star says that “anything can happen”, reported AceShowbiz.
“I wouldn’t rule it out. It would be a great opportunity to help people, so it’s possible. This past election shows that anything can happen,” he said.
Johnson may have no political experience, but he is no stranger to participating in political events. Back in 2000, he spoke at the Republican national Convention, where he urged young people to vote.
