Robert Pattinson to star in The Band biopic

The legendary band was especially prolific in the late 60's and 70's,recording hits as 'The Weight'.

‘Twilight’ star Robert Pattinson has reportedly signed up to star in a biopic about rock group ‘The Band’.

The legendary band was especially prolific in the late 60’s and 70’s,recording hits as ‘The Weight’ during their time together,a media report said.

‘The Band’ was founded by musicians Rick Danko,Levon Helm,Garth Hudson,Richard Manuel and Robbie Robertson and was famed for their numerous performances alongside Bob Dylan,as well as working with Van Morrison,amongst others,from time to time.

Although best known for playing Edward Cullen in the ‘Twilight Saga’,Pattinson has been experimenting with his roles in films like ‘Cosmopolis’ and ‘Bel Ami’.

Pattinson also said he shall be working with his ‘Cosmopolis’ director David Cronenberg again.

“I’m filming another movie with Cronenberg but I don’t know when he wants to start filming.”
