Rihanna has confessed there is more to her latest album Rated R than just songs, namely her anger and frustration.
The R&B singer admitted the recording process helped her overcome her emotions after she was brutally assaulted by former boyfriend Chris Brown.
“Making this album was a lot of fun I have to say,it was really good for me,” News.com.au quoted her as telling Daily Telegraph music editor Kathy McCabe.
“The vocal performances definitely were influenced by the emotion, the feeling. I wasn’t just singing lines,I was singing every word and every word meant something because it was my story. It was a lot more personal,a lot more real . . .
“I was venting,” the 22-year-old star added.
