Penelope Cruz does not celebrate Valentine’s Day

Spanish actress Penelope Cruz has revealed that she does not believe in celebrating Valentine's day.

Spanish actress Penelope Cruz,who has won a BAFTA award for her performance in the Woody Allen’s film ‘Vicky Christina Barcelona,has revealed that she does not believe in celebrating Valentine’s day.

The actress said that she never sends or receives any Valentine Day cards.

The actress known equally for her acting skills as her beauty,added that she does not like being vocal about her love life and prefers to keep it personal.

”I do not like talking about love. It is too revealing. But I have had so much love in my life,and I am always open to it,” the actress told ‘Daily Mail’.

“I never talk about romance. I’m afraid of what might come out if I talk. I thought,’Why do we have to explain?

It is not right that I am being asked if I am with someone or not,'” said the actress who has dated Hollywood’s leading men including Tom Cruise and Matthew McConaughey.

The “Volver” star thanked her family for keeping her faith in love.

“A close family is very important. It can set you up for life. My father and my mother,Eduardo and Encarna,brought me and my sister,Monica,and brother,Eduardo,to love and appreciate each other,” said the actress,who is currently dating Spanish actor Javier Bardem.
