Prince Jackson, son of late Michael Jackson, has finally opened up about the family feud and says he is “really angry and hurt”.
The 15-year-old took to Twitter and said that his grandmother,Katherine, was “misguided” and “lied to” by relatives,The Hollywood Reporter said.
“As long as I can remember,my dad had repeatedly warned me of certain people and their ways. Although I am happy my grandma was returned, after speaking with her I realised how misguided and how badly she was lied to. I am really angry and hurt,” Prince posted.
Alongwith the tweet,he also posted an image of his cell phone screen, featuring a group chat that he had started to several family members.
The image showed a conversation that appears to include Prince, his aunts Rebbie and Janet Jackson, and another relative,Austin Jackson.
His text reads: “This is enough so I am texting you for the simple fact that WE DEMAND TO SPEAK TO MY GRANDMA NOW!!!”
A reply that was apparently sent by Janet read: “Don’t let them pls.”
Prince said that the group text message that he had initially sent was replied to but his relatives didn’t know that I could see the responses.
“For this whole time,we were denied contact to our grandmother,” he added.
The exchange reportedly took place a few hours after Janet was seen trying to take Paris’ cell phone away from her in Katherine’s driveway. Prince Michael’s tweet comes a day after a judge suspended Katherine’s guardianship over him and his siblings Paris,14,and Blanket,10 – and just hours after she returned to her home in Calabasas,Calif.
The judge’s decision was based on the fact that she had been in Arizona for several days and not in touch with the children.
Tito Jackson’s son,TJ,was appointed as their temporary guardian, but Katherine’s lawyer said he planned to file a motion to reinstate her as guardian upon her return to Los Angeles.
While Paris has been tweeting about the incident,Prince Michael said he chose to remain silent until the time was right “to reveal my side.”
He ended the message saying,”If you continue with your lies I will continue with the truth”? and signed it “Michael Jackson Jr.”
Jackson’s siblings are at war with his estate executors over King of Pop’s USD 500 million fortune.
They reportedly want Katherine to come on board to challenge Michael’s will and get the executors removed. Only Katherine and Michael’s three children are named in the will.
