Kirloskar Vasundahra International film festival to be held from Jan 4 to 11

This year’s theme ‘save river, save life’ focuses on importance of rivers and how the onus is on people to protect them.

The Kirloskar Vasundahra International Film Festival (KVIFF) is set to be held from January 4 to 11 at Yashwantrao Chavan Natyagruha, Archive Theatre, Prabhat Road, Kirloskar Campus.  The eight-day festival combines exclusive national, international film screenings and a number of allied activities. It is an attempt to explore nature and analyse issues related to environment, wildlife, energy, air and water. This year’s theme ‘save river, save life’ focuses on importance of rivers and how the onus is on people to protect them.

KVIFF has announced the Kirloskar Vasundhara Sanman to Dr Vikas Amte, who is an an innovative scientist, researcher, environmental entrepreneur, management executive, financier, social worker and physician.

KVIFF is a joint initiative of Kirloskar and Vasundhara Club and is being organised in association with Pugmarks, Go Wild, Square 1, Intach, Sagar Mitra, Lokayat, Jal Biradari, Institute of Indian Interior Designers, Environmental Club of India, WWF, Woodpecker, IDPA, Jeevitnadi, Giripremi, Paryavaran Dakshata Manch, Students for Development, Bio Spheres, Maharashtra Sahitya Parishad, My Earth Foundation, et al.
