Amanda Bynes says she has retired from acting

Bynes is facing a trial on misdemeanor DUI and two cases of hit-and-run.

Troubled actress Amanda Bynes,who has been in news for her several run-ins with law and increasingly erratic behaviour,says she is doing fine and plans to quit acting.

Bynes,26,is facing a trial on misdemeanor DUI and two cases of hit-and-run but the ‘Easy A’ star is upbeat about launching her career as a designer,People magazine reported.

“I am retired as an actor. I am moving to New York to launch my career.

“I am going to do a fashion line. I am not talking about being arrested for DUI because I don’t drink,and I don’t drink and drive. It is all false,” she said.

Meanwhile,Bynes parents have moved to California from Texas to take care of their daughter. Bynes has no plans to enter rehab.
