Yami Gautam, Hrithik-Kangana controversy, Hrithik Roshan, Kangana Ranaut, Hrithik-Kangana controversy support, Yami Gautam on Hrithik-Kangana spat Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil co-star Yami Gautam posted a long note.

We all have read multiple angles of the famous Hrithik-Kangana controversy. We heard all that Kangana Ranaut had to say. We also read what Hrithik Roshan shared. But now we see more celebs coming up to express what they think of this spat. It was yesterday when we read Farhan Akhtar’s post on the controversy where he did not name any of the two parties involved, and today morning Hrithik’s Kaabil co-star Yami Gautam shared her view on the same, but without mentioning Hrithik-Kangana’s names.

Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil co-star Yami Gautam posted a long note and she kept it general by writing, “matter surrounding two of the biggest stars in our industry,” but we know it is Kangana and Hrithik.

Here is what Yami Gautam wrote on Hrithik-Kangana controversy:

I am usually not very vocal on social media, but I am making an exception today, since as a woman, what I am seeing right now terrifies me.

This is concerning the matter surrounding two of the biggest stars in our industry. I have, fortunately, had the opportunity to work with one of them. However, I am not writing this as a co-star or even as a friend. I am writing this as a woman and a concerned citizen of the country, and I will try to get my point across as succinctly and as objectively as possible.

I am no legal expert. And I am not privy to the details of the case. I know what has been reported in the media, and I am all for good, honest reporting. However, somehow, the tussle has turned into a gender war, with a certain faction of the society having already declared the man guilty. People have presumed that since he is a man, he must be the guilty party, since that is how it has always been. Men have oppressed women in one way or another for centuries, and it’s being presumed that it is the same in this case, too.

And that’s dangerous. Whatever happened to innocent, until proven guilty? Whatever happened to letting the law take its own course? Yes, a lot of times, at least in this country, we have take to the streets to get justice. But that’s not the case here. The police is investigating, and both the parties are privileged enough that they can represent themselves in court and fight this out legally. Sadly, our law and order is sort of classist, but let’s not digress.

Here is why this vilification of a man based on make-believe evidence is dangerous. If the gender-card is allowed to take precedence over facts and objectivity, it will be a serious blow to the on-going efforts of getting women an equal standing with the opposite sex. If this baseless trial-by-media is allowed to continue, where one party has been presumed to be guilty, there is a good likelihood that people might lose faith in this equal-rights-for-all movement that has picked up momentum in India only in recent years.

I am not exonerating anyone here. I am also not suggesting malice by any one party. All I am saying is, let’s not make it a fight between genders. Let’s keep it a fight between two people who may or may not have corresponded in the past. Let the facts be unearthed and until then, let’s reserve our judgements.
Just because this is a fight between a man and a woman does not mean it has to be a fight between genders. Making everything a gender issue can easily distract us from addressing legit sexist issues that plague our society.”

Here is Yami Gautam’s Facebook post :

Probably it was Farhan Akhtar’s post which pushed Yami to come up with this reaction as she shared his post too and wrote, “Powerful thought #amustread.”

Sonam Kapoor too had retweeted Farhan’s post on Twitter with the caption, “Well written and very fair Farhan. I concur.

As a woman this is terrifying you, really? What about ur fairness Cream endor ts where u so blatantly emphasize the importance of fair complexion over dark?In a country of majority of population being on the dusky or darker side,u are telling them that they are not good enough?U are a threat to our society Ms.Yami.I see women and even men everyday who are complexed coz they are not fair.any amount of counseling is not helping them coz it is put in their heads by society and especially people like you. now that u spoke about someone else's personal matter took a side clearly, what about u coming in between a couple's relation breaking their marriage?U do not have the slightest idea of what women in our society go through and their suffering.so do not act like u know and u care. do not turn this issue into a gender issue and show Ur friend HR as a victim. This is a v.different issue and not a man vs woman fight. Its about bullying, manipulating, threatening, harrassing,power-play.

Only Kangana and her friends calling the "man" wrong nobody else, Kangana is just trying to make it feminist issue out of spite and because she is a disgruntled ex. She just wanted to marry Hritikh and he didn't find her worthy of her being his wife which got her butt hurt and went around spewing poison and lies. Kangana has always been an attention ho and not a kind of person who you can trust that whatever comes out of her mouth will be truth sometimes I find her to be female version of Swami OM who will say anything for little bit of attention and when she doesn't get what she want she spews om insults and lies.

Also why did kangana go to Rizwan siddiqui who should be banned from practicing as he disclosed client's case details. He can never understand a woman's cases. Kangana's could be a rape case.. Many times victims dont understand how they are manipulated.... In India no one understands rape by fraud or manipulation.... : dnaindia /mumbai/report-women-s-panel-wants-model-s-former-lawyer-rizwan-siddiqui-banned-from-practising-law-2008611 Hrithik's team is now trying to do damage control by telling how men are victims. He is playing men card. Many in the industry manipulate women in the name of love and then dump them. Look at american law... How shamak davar , bikram chaudhary were cherged with ual abuse cases. Indians will never understand the subtle ways of commiting a crime.

Now all the bollywood would come in support of Papa's son. All the flag bearers of nepotism who got threatened by a common girl would gang up on her. Did not like people giving support to their Queen. It might be a rape by manipulation which kanagana herself does not yet understand with threatening to show pics which is a crime. He should be arrested for hacking into her account, threatening her, raping her(If done by manipulation) also. Farhan's parents also need to face jail for intimidating her. So do all thee people who directly , indirectly threaten or intimidate her... When our country's laws be like USA laws.... The bolly tards just want the money. cheap people. are USA wannabes but exploit a woman in a cheap indian way... should stop watching everybody's movies whio is intimidating kangana with their so called 'unbiased stand ' Police should take actions against these peoeple.
