Jaya Bachchan is the latest celebrity to have something to say on demonetisation. However, she was speaking more in the capacity of being a politician rather than someone from Bollywood fraternity. Jaya Bachchan, Rajya Sabha MP, said that the intention behind demonetisation is good but its implementation is a bit flawed. Jaya also quoted a social media message and took a dig at PM Modi’s decision. “Bharat 50 din baad swarg ban jayega aur hum sab swargwasi .”

This comes after others in the Bachchan family including Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan lauded PM Modi’s decision. Amitabh Bachchan was the first one to support demonetisation. The actor took to Twitter and shared, ” T 2435 – the new 2000 rs note is PINK in colour … the PINK effect ..”

“Congratulations, Mr PM. You have gone ahead with a very strong move for your larger vision to wipe out corruption in our country. That’s the larger overview that we as citizens patiently understand and recognise. Change isn’t often comfortable, but everybody will find their way to embrace it if they focus on the larger picture,” said Aishwarya in an interview with NDTV. Aishwarya was in the capital for her brand commitments.

Abhishek Bachchan wasn’t far behind and expressed his support. The 40-year-old star said change can bring about a bit of discomfort but it is for the larger good of people and the nation. “Anybody, who is trying do something good for the country needs to be supported. And that’s what we should do. It’s a move in the positive direction,” Abhishek told PTI.

She's most arrogant actress of Bollywood.i don't know her education level.but definitely much less than her father and husband. Only because of amitabh Bachman she's still gets the limelight .Her opinion doesn't have much weight... she's typical politician

The rich and politicians who have stashed black money will naturally oppose demonetisation.

Her husband and she are panama , land grabbers of farmers, indian public is so low to watch amitabh, salman, srk, amir khan films. They make me puke, over hyped, the intelligently, people with common sense don't appreciate them at all. Producers, directors, if you have so much of money give it to the real heroes families, you will be blessed, can't stand these overgrown men exploiting young heroines, looks pervertish.

This little midget woman is evil and uptight. That Lambu does nothing for the community. Ego rules this family and Khans that have looted India. I wonder why Indian people even consider them as little gods.

In her statement "hum sab swargwasi ", the author refers to her family members including her husband, son and daughter-in-law. Nothing for us to worry about. Let them die, we don't care.
