After the pumped up beats of Get on the dance floor and romantic song Titli,here’s another melodious song Kashmir Mein Tu Kanyakumari from Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s Chennai Express.

Going by the title,the song celebrates the love of a North Indian boy and South Indian girl.

Sung by Sunidhi Chauhan,Arijit Singh and Neeti Mohan,the video starts off with Shah Rukh and Deepika looking blissful as they enjoy a ride in an open gypsy around the tea estates of Munnar.

The melodious track is composed by musical duo Vishal-Shekhar and lyrics are by Amitabh Bhattacharya.

Deepika looks lovely in a colorful sari while Shah Rukh looks his usual charming self.

The video displays a riot of colours with Kathakali dancers showing off their moves. Even Shah Rukh and Deepika join in. Another sequence has the duo dancing in lungis.

At the trailer launch of Chennai Express,Deepika herself revealed that both the lungis,hers and Shah Rukh’s actually belonged to her and she had lent Shah Rukh the lungi for the video.

The chemistry between the duo is sweet and a delight to watch.

Directed by Rohit Shetty,Chennai Express was slated to release on August 8,however it has been pushed to August 9,to coincide with Eid.
