Bollywood’s ‘serial kisser’ Emraan Hashmi is back with his typical style with his upcoming movie ‘Raja Natwarlal’. The first official trailer of the film was released on Friday (July 18).
Emraan, whose last film ‘Ghanchakkar’ with National Award winning actress Vidya Balan was a flop, has teamed up with his ‘Jannat’ director Kunal Deshmukh for this film. Emraan and Kunal have given several hits in the past such as ‘Jannat’, ‘Jannat 2’, ‘Tum Mile’.
‘Raja Natwarlal’ is a treat for Emraan Hashmi fans as he plays safe this time by getting back to the genre he is best at – thriller. The trailer also features actor Paresh Rawal, who plays Emraan’s mentor in the film.
While Emraan Hashmi essays the role of a famous conman, Paresh Rawal will be seen mentoring him in the film.
Paresh Rawal’s character is also of a conman, who teaches the tricks and trades of the game to Emraan and makes him an ace scamster.
The movie produced under Siddharth Roy Kapur’s UTV Motion Pictures, captures the essence of Emraan’s character in the film.
“Ever since I heard this title, I have been after UTV to get it. It etches out my character perfectly and is extremely catchy. Also, because it fits in so well with the space of the film, it will help us in promoting the film very well,” Emraan said in an interview about the film earlier.
Apart from Emraan and Paresh the film also stars Humaima Malik as Jeena, Deepak Tijori as Raju Anna and Kay Kay Menon as Vardha Yadav.
‘Raja Natwarlal’ is set to release on August 29.
