It’s the murky world of showbiz and technology and what appeals to one may not please the other. So people take to the social networking sites, like Twitter and facebook, to express their long hidden emotions and opinions. And if the posts are about a well known person, they might as well catch the eye.

Similar happened when TV actress Kishwer Merchantt, last seen in Star Plus’ show ‘Ek Hasina Thhi’, tweeted a rather displeasing comment about actress Katrina Kaif.

We assume this tweet must be after the actress watched Katrina’s latest release ‘Bang Bang’. If this wasn’t enough, soon after this tweet, Katrina’s fans and haters started commenting on the tweet and what started mere as a regular tweet converted to a full blown war of words. Kishwer Merchantt didn’t step back; instead, she began retweeting tweets that echoed the same viewpoint. She later posted:

We wonder what made Kishwer tweet this. You have an opinion? Good. Make your point to the world, but remember you are being watched. When you are followed by 16.8K people, each word said by you becomes a prophecy.

Freedom of expression that is, one would say; but as another saying goes, the world is about words. A correct point, put in a wrong way, will become subject to criticism and backlash. And item numbers or not, all of it is an actor’s job. Isn’t it?

If she is so eager to get into bigg boss house, she should have just asked salman khan, why create so much controversy over nothing.

I used to love Kaif, especially in 2007- 2008 ( namastey london, welcome...) But I have to agree, her acting still hasn't improved. Seeing her in Dhoom 3 was terribly disappointing.

I don't know what to say about this one because everyone is enled to their opinion. I could understand if what she wrote was a lie but in reality it isn't. It's real sad that indian cinema has come to this! Katrina kaif is not an actor. We all know what got her famous is really her beauty simply because she resembles white people and is clearly not an Indian. Salman khan had a huge hand in making her career as well. Her acting is clearly not there although she has worked very hard to learn hindi. But look around in the indian tv shows how many foreign girls have learned hindi in the hopes to make it big in the bollywood industry. The only difference between them and katrina kaif you ask??? Well, the only difference seems to be that they don't know salman khan or are not as close to him as katrina kaif is/was. These white female actresses can get a job somewhere else but it's hard for an indian beautiful actress to get a job in her OWN country simply because of the infatuation with American colored skin. In addition to that it's hard for an indian girl to find an acting job in foreign countries outside of India because of their accent n the amount of nudity those movies require. It's time to put an end to this bull anyway or else let the bollywood industry be ruled by these foreign European or American girls. Heck, I say give all the indian girls some American and European men with blue or green eyes to look at as well. Go crazy!!! (Being sarcastic). However, I'm sure indian girls would like to look at some "foreign meat" on television for a change just like indian men do.

Even with a make-up Kishwer looks ugly, I can't imagine her without a make-up. How anybody like her dares to criticize A-lister heroin, who brings a success to any film with her touch! Apni jagah jaano, larki, dusron ki jagah lene ki koshish mat karo. Katrina kahan he aor tu bechari kahan he!
