Neha Dhupia’s chat show #NofilterNeha is grabbing eyeballs owing to the frank and bold statements made by her celebrity guests. And it was no different when Kangana Ranaut appeared on her show. Among the many eye-popping statements Kangana made, one of them was about Hrithik having made it big owing to his famous father. Kangana’s answer created quite a stir as fans of the Greek God went berserk on social media, slamming the Queen actor.
When Neha was quizzed about Kangana’s answer and asked if she felt the actor was right in saying Hrithik is famous only because of his father, Neha looked a tad uncomfortable while answering the question. However, after some prodding, she replied, “Everybody is entitled to their own opinion and I respect Kangana for having her opinion. I know Hrithik only socially and don’t know him otherwise. I have always been a fan of Hrithik and Kangana both and if her opinion is like that you should ask her when you meet her next.”
Neha — who is busy promoting her next film titled Moh Mayaa Money — also congratulated the government for demonetisation of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 rupee notes. “It’s a great step and something that our country needed. It’s a bold move. We as actors are in a very clean time in the industry today. The only trouble is that I will now have to deposit the money that I withdrew from the ATM that has Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes.”
Talking about the troubles she had to face in daily life after the step, Neha revealed, “I eat fruits daily. So to pay my fruit seller was a problem. The simple places where you cannot pay using the card and that you used to take for granted is now getting difficult. But the change is good and you need to support the government by not complaining. We need to have patience.”
