The most-awaited biopic of the year, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story is all set to reveal the real life story of the Indian skipper MS Dhoni at the end of this month. The movie will give its viewers a chance to step into Dhoni’s life and director Neeraj Pandey has put the right ingredients to give an experience closest to reality. And for this, the makers chose to shoot at real locations which have a strong relevance to Dhoni’s life.
Director Neeraj Pandey has paid close attention to the smallest nuances of Dhoni’s life by shooting at locations associated with Dhoni, like his house in Ranchi, at his school and at Kharagpur station where Dhoni was stationed as the TT.
Sushant Singh Rajput, who will play Dhoni onscreen, has been garnering praises from all quarters for showcasing an exemplary depiction of the cricket sensation. To get into the skin of the character, Sushant rigourously trained for nine months to pick up the subtle nuances. He had to perfect his cricketing skills for which he trained for two years. As a result Sushant can also pull off Dhoni’s patented helicopter shot with perfection. He also injured himself on the sets while practicing the shot.
In one of the videos released by the makers, it features Dhoni lifting his bat to hit it off, the move transform Dhoni into reel life Dhoni aka Sushant in a swipe.
M.S.Dhoni’s biopic has been creating immense buzz and anticipation among the audiences ever since its first teaser release.
The movie, which also stars Kiara Advani as Sakshi Dhoni and Disha Patani as Dhoni’s girlfriend, is all set to echo the theatres with Dhoni’s chants on September 30.
