It’s judgment day for Sultan and if audience reactions are anything to go by on Day One, one can very well say Salman Khan and Anushka Sharma movie has passed the Eid test with flying colours. The reactions that we have received from audience at a Mumbai multiplex after the culmination of the first show (8.30am) of Sultan is nothing less than outstanding.
Salman Khan has managed to bowl over audience with his sheer charisma in the movie. People walked out of theatres with beaming smiles on their faces. And among the reactions that we obtained from an almost packed house, not a single one was adverse in nature.
And not just people on the road, even the critics have only good things to say about the film. Indian Express critic Shubhra Gupta wrote in her review, “In that instant we know that Sultan is about to push twin boundaries. Of a star’s scope, and of mainstream Bollywood. That this will not be the super-human, super-hero Bhai who has been shown crossing the tracks just a whisker ahead of a rushing locomotive from one of his several forgettable flicks. That this will be a Khan who has to, literally, do a lot of heavy-lifting to win the crown.”e.

This was the buzz word on the lips of most who watched the film. A viewer pointed out that he was “absolutely inspired” after watching the film, while another remarked, “I feel like doing something after watching the film.”
Audience were thrilled to see the film weaving out into a interesting sports drama with not a single window of opportunity left to feel bored. “Every frame of the film keeps you hooked and booked,” said a viewer.
It’s a Salman Khan show:
Last but not the least, it’s a pure Salman Khan show. The 50-year-old superstar has proved his mettle at the box-office yet again with audience flocking theatres as early as 8 am to catch the first show. And each and everyone of them was left delighted as Bhai delivered the ultimate knockout punch that everyone was hoping to see. Salman…Salman screamed masses as they exited the multiplex smiling and whistling.
