SRK, Ranveer copy Salman Khan, promote their films through ‘Dubsmashes’

Ranveer Singh and Shah Rukh Khan seem to be following Salman's footsteps and they are also using Dubsmash for promoting 'Bajirao Mastani' and 'Dilwale'.

Salman Khan’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ started the trend of promoting their film through Dubsmash. The title track became a rage among the fans and everyone from Bollywood actors to celebrities and child artists were seen dancing to the tunes of the title track that featured Sonam Kapoor. Salman Khan himself kept sharing videos of the Dubsmash on the song.

Earlier Harshali Malhotra, who played the role of Munni in Salman’s ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ dubsmashed on ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’s title track. Veteran actress Waeeda Rehman, Sridevi, Shilpa Shetty, Kabir Khan’s daughter and many more danced to the tunes of PRDP’s title track.

Copying Salman Khan’s strategy of making their songs and dialogues popular are none other than Shah Rukh Khan and Ranveer Singh for their upcoming movies ‘Dilwale’ and Bajirao Mastani respectively. With SRK, Kajol, Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon’s Dilwale all set to release on December 18, their friends and fans can be seen dancing on ‘Manma Emotion’ song. From having fans in India dance on the same, the song seems to have become a rage overseas as well. Here is Sonakshi Sinha’s dance on the song:

Varun also shared a video of a man dancing on the same while we see the Eiffel tower in the background.

Jackky Bhagnani, Zoa Morani and Remo D’Souza were seen dancing to ‘Manma Emotion’ song.

Ranveer Singh also seems to following his senior’s footsteps and he is also using the Dubsmash for promoting his soon-to-release movie.

From Amitabh Bachchan to Riteish Deshmukh, Akshay Kumar, Anushka Sharma and Sourav Ganguly, there are many celebs who have lipsynced for the dialogue, “Bajirao ne Mastani se Mohabbat ki hai, Aiyaashi nahin.”
