A day after Sonakshi Sinha revealed the first trailer of her action-filled Akira, she is looking for love and professional success in Karachi. We are talking of Sonakshi’s next film Noor, where she plays a Pakistan-based journalist who braves both bombs and bad bosses.

Sonakshi took to Twitter to share an on-set photo from the film.

“And my #Noor journey begins… here’s to new beginnings & exciting times ahead! @NoorTheFilm @Abundantia_Ent @TSeries,” Sonakshi tweeted along with an on-set picture.

In the photo, she is seen winking with the clapboard in her hand. The actress announced the project on June 2, her 29th birthday.

Directed by Sunhil Sippy, Noor is a crime thriller. It is an adaptation of Pakistani novel ‘Karachi, You’re Killing Me!’ by Saba Imtiaz. The novel centres around a 20-year-old reporter Ayesha Khan, living in Karachi, and her misadventures.
