Actress Sonakshi Sinha is thankful to her co-star John Abraham for considering her for doing action in their upcoming film Force 2. In Force 2, directed by Abhinay Deo, John reprises the character of ACP Yashvardhan and Sonakshi plays a RAW agent.
“I was excited that I would get a chance to do action with him. On the day of shoot for Force 2, John saw Akira and he liked the action that I did in the film. He asked Abhinay Deo to incorporate me in the action sequences. I have taken this as a compliment,” Sonakshi told reporters here at
the song launch event of Force 2.
The actor had some heavy-duty action scenes in her last release Akira. “It is a coincidence that I got to do two back-to-back action films. I loved both the films and my role was fantastic. Both the films have a different kind of action. I like seeing action on screen,” she said.
“I am happy doing action in both the films. There were no different treatment from action directors. Hopefully, things will get better for heroines to do action in films,” added Sonakshi.
The 29-year-old-actress said that her role in Akira helped her do action in Force 2.
“There are some cool, stylised and sleek action sequences. We have worked with great action directors. We have car chases, gun fights and hand-to-hand combat,” exclaimed Sonakshi.
The Lootera actress said she felt patriotic and got goose bumps every time she listened to the song “Lal Rang” from her latest film.
