Daring Devgn’s all new action-packed avatar in Shivaay left viewers impressed to bits. Masses thronged cinema halls for the first show and exited with bright, smiling faces visibly happy after watching Ajay Devgn’s second directorial venture.

Two multiplexes that we visited saw an almost packed-to-capacity audience enjoying every punch thrown in by Ajay onscreen. Said a viewer, ” It was fabulous to see this action-packed drama after long. The sequences filmed in the snowy mountains made for a compelling watch. Ajay Devgn did a fabulous job and we loved the high octane action. The first car chase in Bulgaria is what one could call an edge of the seat action sequence.”

The special effects used in the film also bedazzled audience well enough to earn their appreciation. “The VFX was top class. The scenes filmed on mountain especially the avalanche made for great viewing. Even the car chases too were nicely filmed.”

For the majority, it was Ajay’s sincere acting that constituted the film’s USP. “We didn’t feel bored at all. The film was gripping and Ajay’s acting held the key. Apart from executing the action sequences well, he portrayed human emotions in a rather touching manner that makes you feel his pain. The father-daughter bond was quite sentimental to watch.”

Apart from Ajay, Abigail Eames’ performance earned her high praise from viewers. “The little girl was way too cute. And she acted very well. Her emotional scenes with Ajay touched our hearts especially the climax sequence which will leave many teary eyed.”

With masses loving the film and both single screens as well as multiplexes reserving good screen numbers for Shivaay, the Diwali weekend should augur well for Ajay Devgn. Whether the movie will be destructive enough at the box-office to leave Ae Dil Hai Mushkil behind in the race is something that one will have to wait and watch for.
