In his own words, he recollected, “SRK is a gifted, talented, natural and effortless actor. He has great regard for seniors. Once during the filming of ‘Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman’, he came to my make-up room and asked me, ‘Anjan da are you getting my reaction? Am I doing it correctly? Are you getting what I’m trying to portray through my reactions?’ He was very much concerned about his acting and took it very seriously. During the premier of ‘Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa’, he took us to Delhi to his house and in-laws.” (PHOTOS: Shah Rukh Khan @ 50: Bollywood Badshah’s style file)

Recollecting SRK’s benevolent nature towards his fans, Anjan narrated, “He had suggested my name for ‘Chak De’. It was a very important film for which he had to train in hockey as well. While we were shooting for it in Delhi, one of my best friend’s daughter who was celebrating her birthday expressed a desire to meet SRK. My friend asked me if I could arrange for a meet. I was skeptical initially. Being an actor, I know how incorrect it is to disturb another actor during shoots. But my friend implored me and I reluctantly tried. It was lunch time and every one had dispersed to eat. I went to his make-up man and asked him if it would be possible to arrange for a meet. The make-up guy said that though SRK is quite tensed preparing for his role, he would convey my message. As soon as SRK got to know about my friend’s daughter waiting to meet him, he immediately said yes and met her, signed autographs and clicked pictures. The girl had also brought her friends which I was not aware about but SRK graciously obliged all of them with pictures.” (IN PICS: Shah Rukh Khan turns 50: Bollywood King’s top 10 roles)
