This time, Salman Khan is not caught in a controversy but teaching all of us how we can show our love to Indian Army and the brave soldiers who sacrifice their happiness so that we can be safe. Salman Khan, on his Facebook account, has shared a small video wishing a very Happy Diwali to the real superheroes of everybody’s life, and the video is going to leave you in tears. While posting the video, the actor wrote, “My hearty greetings to the army soldiers and young people of the country and Happy Diwali to all #Sandesh2Soldiers”

The video takes us on a walk through different relationships — a child thinking of his father while writing a letter to him for Diwali, a man sharing how proud he feels when he looks at an army man, a mother whose wait for her army man son is endless but is still making laddoos for him. The video ends with a message from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He had said that this Diwali, all the countrymen should send their wishes and greetings to army men who relentlessly work towards protection of our country, with the hashtag #Sandesh2Soldiers.

Speculations are rife that Salman will be portraying the role of an army man in his next big release, Tubelight. Even Kabir Khan had shared a picture a few weeks back in which the actor was seen in an army man attire. Tubelight, which is said to be based on the 1962 Sino-Indian war, marks the third collaboration of the actor-director duo, who have previously worked on blockbuster Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Ek Tha Tiger. Tubelight also stars Chinese actor Zhu Zhu. The movie will hit the theaters on Eid next year.
