Ranveer Singh sends ‘Kill Dil’ crew on a ‘cake hunt’

The cast and crew of the upcoming film ‘Kill dil’ had to arrange 600 cakes for the shooting of a song sequence. Lead actor Ranveer Singh came up with the idea of using cakes for the film’s ‘Happy Birthday’ song, – as birthday celebrations without cake is impossible.

The Yash Raj Films informed that the entire crew was in Pune, Mumbai and Navi Mumbai arranging 600 cakes.

If this was not enough, the ‘Ram-Leela’ actor also roped in singer Sukhwinder Singh for a cameo in the ‘Happy Birthday’ song.

The film also stars Parineeti Chopra, Ali Zafar and Govinda. The newly-wed Rani Mukerji will be seen playing a pivotal role in the film.

The film directed by ‘Shaad Ali’ is slated for a November release.
