A day after Deepika Padukone lashed out at a leading daily for commenting on her dressing at a public event, people from various quartets came out in support of the dimpled actress. From calling the ‘entertainment media’ cheap to referring this incident as an example of ‘wanton hypocrisy’, the celebrities were all in for saving the dignity of womanhood.
As soon as Deepika Padukone showed her displeasure on twitter, not only fans but her friends too began registering their anger in the form of tweets to her. Her rumoured beau Ranveer Singh, ‘Finding Fanny’ co-star Arjun Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Aditi Rao Hydari, Ayushmann Khurrana, Dia Mirza, Karan Johar and others expressed their disappointment at the series of events.
