Controversy’s favourite child Ram Gopal Varma is back to doing what he does best- heaping insult on Twitter. The maverick director who has often been panned for his crude tweets crossed the line once again when he heaped insult on three former Prime Ministers of India namely Atal Bihari Vajpayee, PV Narsimha Rao, Chandra Shekhar Singh and Sonia Gandhi.

More from the world of Entertainment:

Through a series of tweets, Varma went ahead to called the former premiers backbenchers, bad and disrespectful towards women. He also loaded a picture that had Vajpayee, Rao and Chandra Shekhar sharing a light moment in the Parliament while Congress chief Sonia Gandhi is seated ahead of them.

Wrote RGV, “Back benchers r always bad whether in school or parliament .Dont know who these 3 r but they look badder than each.”

“This pic represents inner psyche of Indian men’s disrespect for women ..Police shud investigate who they are.”

Feigning ignorance, RGV questioned about the identity of the premieres and accused them of cracking dirty jokes about Sonia Gandhi.

“Whoever these 3 men r am shocked they are cracking dirty jokes about such a classy dignified woman whoever she is,” tweeted Varma.

The filmmaker has in past courted trouble for his controversial tweets be it on Rajinikanth or Lord Ganesha. We wonder if the above tweets aimed at former PMs is another novel way of promoting his next, Sarkaar 3 starring Amitabh Bachchan.
