Director Ram Gopal Varma, who has time and again got himself embroiled in controversies, has done it again. The ‘Company’ filmmaker recently posted a tweet on southern acting legend Rajinikanth and his upcoming film ‘Kochadaiiyaan’, which was not very well received by the fans of Thalivaa.

Rajinikanth’s ardent fans ridiculed the director for his ‘lewd’ comments on the actor.

Soon after this reaction Ram Gopal Varma tried to control the situation, and said that the tweet was a ‘compliment’ and all he meant was that Rajinikanth is a ‘wonder’ even without the use of 3D technology.

Rajinikanth’s ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ is all set to release on May 23, after being postponed twice. Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya R Ashwin will make her directorial debut with the film which also stars Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, among others.
