Manoj Bajpayee is one of the most underrated actors of Bollywood. After years of staying around, he was barely remembered for films beyond Shool, Satya and Zubeidaa for a long timeBut thanks to Gangs of Wasseypur, his career graph sprang upwards and today he is part of several mainstream films stealing the screen space from all his co-actors. And while his films are doing wonders at the box office, Bajpayee has become a regular face in several short films and web series too. He is definitely experimenting well with his acting prowess.
Just days back his latest short film Ouch got released online. And like others, this one too left his fans asking for more. Amid numerous compliments coming his way, some special applause came from his mentor Ram Gopal Varma too. Filmmaker RGV has heaped praise on the actor for his performance in Ouch.
“One of the most original comedic scenes. Manoj is just fantastic in this Neeraj Pandey’s short film ‘Ouch’,” Varma tweeted on Tuesday about Bajpayee who will appear in the filmmaker’s upcoming project Sarkar 3, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan. RGV had said Bajpayee’s character in the film is inspired by Arvind Kejriwal.
