After a dud like Behen Hogi Teri and a superhit like Bareilly Ki Barfi, Rajkummar Rao is back with a commercial comedy film, Shaadi Mein Zaroor Aana. The actor shared that the film will release on November 10 this year.
This is for the first time when the actor will be seen sharing the screen space with Raaz 4 fame Kriti Kharbanda. Directed by Ratna Sinha, the film’s story rises from the cultural and traditional roots of Uttar Pradesh, and is about two ordinary middle-class people, Satyendra Mishra and Aarti Shukla, who are soon to be married. But Aarti decides to follow her dream, and parts ways from Satyendra. However, life gets them back together and what happens next is a roller coaster ride the audience would experience at the theater.
Rajkummar Rao started the year on a great note with Vikramaditya Motwane’s Trapped, which was one of the most critically-acclaimed films of this year. The versatile actor floored the audience, industry and critics alike with his splendid performance in the survival-drama-thriller. He went onto surprise he audience and his fans by delivering another box office hit, Bareilly Ki Barfi that marked his smooth transition into the out-and-out commercial space.
From being perceived as an art house actor, Rajkummar broke the notion by consistently delivering one great performance after another.

With his latest release – Newton, being selected as India’s official entry to the Oscars 2018 and going strong at the box office, the talented actor made the country proud.
But his journey has not slowed down yet. Rajkummar has some very interesting projects in his kitty for now. At present, the actor is prepping up for Fanney Khan in which he would share the screen space with Anil Kapoor and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
He will also be seen in Hansal Mehta’s Omerta, which was screened at the Toronto International Film Festival and last but not the least, ALTBalaji’s web series – Bose that marks his debut into the digital space.
